A Consistent Feature is a geometric element whose nominal are defined properly in the current coordinate system.
Example:

  • A feature sent to the part program by using self teach techniques are normally Not Consistent since the nominal are the current values of the feature in the current reference system and they are same a the actual.
  • A feature created by clicking the CAD or by typing the definition properly are normally Consistent since the nominal are correct values in the current reference system.
